Kayla Burress and Brett Campbell announce their engagement. Burress is the daughter of Donnie and Donna Griffiths, of Bronson, Kan. Campbell is the son of Craig and Jane Campbell, Fort Scott and Lisa Barker, Nevada, Mo.
The couple plan to wed on July 12, 2008, at 6:30 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, Fort Scott.
The bride-to-be graduated from Uniontown High School, followed by Fort Scott Community College School of Cosmetology and is currently attending Pittsburg State University, majoring in elementary education. She is employed as the assistant manager at Payless Shoes in Pittsburg.
The prospective groom graduated from Uniontown High School, followed by Fort Scott Community College, and has received a degree from Pittsburg State University in heating and air conditioning. He is a foreman at Sterling Coach, Fort Scott.
