There were reports of suspicious vehicles in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Compton Junction area, a traffic stop in the Deerfield area, a vehicle accident in the Schell City area, a theft in the Richards area, a civil matter in the Nevada area, a civil matter in the Harwood area, fraud in the Nevada area, a 911 hangup in the Nevada area, a theft in the Deerfield area, suspicious vehicle in the Vernon County area, a medical call in the Walker area, cows out in the Dederick area, forgery in the Sheldon area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Walker area, a stranded motorist in the Deerfield area, a medical call in the Lawrence County area, a traffic stop in the Horton area, suspicious activity in the Nevada area, a juvenile in the Arthur area, a traffic stop in the Horton area, a vehicle accident in the Lawrence County area and a suspicious person in the Nevada area.

Rachel S. Cargill, 30, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. She was released on a $1,500 bond.

Zachery R. Belcher, 19, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of assault. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

Billy J. Shephard, 33, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of two counts of harassment. He was released on a $2,000 bond.

Patrick A. Schreckengast, 19, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of assault. He is being held in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
