Oct. 8

There were reports of threats in the Sheldon area, a prowler in the Moundville area, found property in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Rich Hill area, a juvenile in the Nevada area, a suspicious person in the Nevada area, a 911 wrong number in the Nevada area, a mail box vandalism in the Nevada area, and a 911 wrong number in the Nevada area.

Harold C. Lawrence, 51, of Kansas City, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for driving while revoked and speeding. He is being held in lieu of a $1,800 bond.

Ricky D. Perkins, 27, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of inhaling fumes of a solvent and resisting arrest. He is being held in lieu of a $1,500 bond.

Oct. 9

There were reports of a traffic stop in the Sheldon area, suspicious activity in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Walker area, a traffic stop in the Arthur area, property damage in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Milo area, controlled burn in the Bronaugh area, an elk out in the Sheldon area, a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, a juvenile in the Schell City area, property damage in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Bronaugh area, a juvenile in the Walker area, a juvenile in the Sheldon area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a vehicle accident in the Nevada area, fraud in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Cedar County area, cows out in the Deerfield area, and a juvenile in the Richards area.

Jerry W. Cox Jr., 30, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of passing bad checks. He is being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Oct. 10

There were reports of cows out in the Deerfield area, a bull out in the Milo area, harassment in the Nevada area, an assault in the Nevada area, a missing or stolen dog in the Nevada area, a suspicious person in the Deerfield area, found property in the Nevada area, a civil matter in the El Dorado Springs area, an alarm in the Harwood area, and a traffic stop in the Nevada area.

Ryan V. Ozga, 20, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of two counts of theft. He is being held in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Bridgette D. Bell, 28, of Joplin, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear for passing bad checks. She was released on a $300 bond.

Timothy S. Dowty, 20, of Richards, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of assault. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

Scott B. Robinson, 37, of Harrisonville, was arrested and processed by the Venon County Sheriff's Office on charges of distribution of a controlled substance. He was released on a $10,000 bond.

Cheri A. Crews, 49, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of passing bad checks. She was released on a $500 bond.

Jacob L. Cole, 24, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of assault. He is being held in lieu of a $1,500 bond.
