Theda Harriet Wilson

Theda Harriet Wilson, 86, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, in Nevada. She was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Nevada, to Harry Vernon Downey and Ora R.E. Hopkins Downey. She married Charles Woodrow Wilson on Oct. 6, 1943, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 1994.

Theda was born and raised in Nevada. She was a graduate of Nevada High School and was a lifelong resident of Nevada. Theda was a member of the First Christian Church in Nevada. She volunteered with the women's auxiliary at Nevada Regional Medical Center for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Roxie Robinson and her husband John, El Dorado Springs, Mo., Sherrie Brennan and her husband John, Jerico Springs, Mo.; one son, Woody Wilson and his wife Linda, Bronaugh, Mo., numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 18, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Norman Highley officiating. A committal service will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
