Nov. 6

There were reports of a check well being in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Walker area, a vandalism in the Rich Hill area, a horse out in the Deerfield area, a juvenile in the Sheldon area, a trash dumping in the Nevada area, cows out in the Nevada area, a theft in the Walker area, spotlighting in the Deerfield area, a road hazard in the Horton area, a disturbance in the Schell City area, and cows out in the Deerfield area.

Micheal J. Serna, 32, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of passing bad checks. He was released on of a $500 bond.

Darren D. Richter, 43, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of leaving the scene of an accident, careless and imprudent driving, and driving while revoked. He was released on a $6,000 bond.

Bob T. Beisley III, 34, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of a Taney County warrant for failure to appear for passing bad checks, and a Jasper County warrant for failure to appear for defective equipment. He was released on a $800 bond.

Nov. 7

There were reports of a suspicious vehicle in the Nevada area, a vandalism in the Nevada area, an abandoned vehicle in the Nevada area, an ATV in the Sheldon area, a traffic hazard in the Bronaugh area, a juvenile in the Nevada area, an assault in the Nevada area, a theft in the Nevada area, dogs in the Moundville area, a dog bite in the Schell City area, a disturbance in the Nevada area, a theft in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a medical call in the Horton area, and a traffic stop in the Moundville area.

Michael B. Gushelff, 41, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of false imprisonment, and peace disturbance. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Michelle O. Martin, 20, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of theft and a warrant from Dade County for failure to appear for two counts of traffic violations. She is being held in lieu of a $2,700 bond.

Nov. 9

There were reports of a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, a neighbor dispute in the Milo area, a vicious dog in the Nevada area, harassment in the Deerfield area, an extra patrol in the Nevada area, a hit and run accident in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Horton area, a vehicle accident in the Nevada area, and trespassing in the Nevada area.

Gregory D. Butterfield, 49, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of a warrant from St. Charles County for a traffic violation. He was released on a $250 bond.

Jail population: 30
