Dec. 15

There were reports of a vehicle accident in the Richards area, an abandoned vehicle in the Nevada area, a theft in the Deerfield area, property damagei n the Richards area, a traffic hazard in the St. Clair County area, a controlled burn in the Deerfield area, a vehicle accident in the Sheldon area, a vehicle accident in the Sheldon area, a vehicle accident in the Milo area, a theft in the Richards area, a stranded motorist in the Sheldon area, a theft in the Sheldon area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a theft in the Sheldon area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, a slide off in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, and a slide off in the Nevada area.

Carla R. Avey, 34, of Pleasanton, Kan., was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charge of failure to appear for passing bad checks. She is being held in lieu of a $400 cash only bond.

There were reports of a vehicle fire in the Arthur area, a burglary in progress in the Nevada area, a slide off in the Deerfield area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, suspicious activity in the Nevada area, a check well being in the Camp Clark area, a structure fire in the Schell City area, a slide off in the Nevada area, threats in the Nevada area, and a dog bite in the Nevada area.

Nathan L. Gicante, 23, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
