John Edwin Evans, 64, of Lamar, Mo., died at12:10 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008, at Barton County Memorial Hospital, in Lamar. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 20, at Konantz-Warden Funeral Home Chapel, in Lamar. Burial will be in Clintenville Cemetery in El Dorado Springs Mo. Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Memorials are to be made to the American Cancery Society or the Lamar Family Ministry Center, in Lamar, in care of the funeral home.
