Eva Ann Jones

Eva Ann Jones, 61, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., following a brief illness. She was born Dec. 14, 1947, in St. Albans, Maine, to Elmer Lee Montgomery and Elsie Eva Fuller Montgomery. She married Robert "Bob" L. Jones on Aug. 11, 1986, in Southington, Conn., and he survives of the home.

Eva grew up in Caribou, Maine, and attended the Woodland School there. She and Robert came to Nevada in 2005 from Southington, Conn.

Survivors in addition to her husband Robert "Bob" Jones include, one granddaughter, Alyssa Clark, of the home; two daughters, Anita Pineau of Texas, and Barbara DiPietro and her husband David, New Britain, Conn.; two granddaughters residing in Meriden, Conn., Ashley and Amber; one great-granddaughter, Lisette; six stepchildren; brothers and sisters, Julia Vester and her husband Stewart, Elm City, N.C., Ruby Bryan and her husband Robert, Nevada, Phoebe Siegler and her husband Robert, Nevada, Joyce Courchesne and her husband Harold, Elm City, N.C., Freddie Montgomery, Southington, Conn., Robert Montgomery and his wife Gail, Van Buren, Maine, and Vernon Montgomery, Nevada; two sisters-in-law, Priscilla Montgomery, Dunnellon, Fla., and Violet Montgomery, Caribou, Maine, and one aunt, Wanita Piper, of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Stora Jake Montgomery and Edward E. Montgomery and sister-in-law, Maureen Montgomery.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Thursday, April 30, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
