Barbara Jean (McReynolds) Humerickhouse

Former Nevada resident, Barbara Jean (McReynolds) Humerickhouse, age 60, died at her home in Piney Bay, Ark., on Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009.

She was born in Chapel Hill, N.C., and was the daughter of the late John W. McReynolds. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Humerickhouse.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Jane Roden of Nevada, one daughter, Hilary Kemp and her husband, Travis, of Lamar, Ark.; three sons, Nick Humerickhouse of Miami, Fla., Dominic Humerickhouse who resides in Rhode Island, and Dr. Edward Humerickhouse and wife, Leah, of Roanoke, Va.; five sisters, Brooke McReynolds of Queensland, Australia, Louise McReynolds of Chapel Hill, N.C., Alice McReynolds of Palm Springs, Calif., Betsy McReynolds and her husband, David Litten, of Nevada, Rebecca McReynolds and her partner, Maureen Enos, of Tucson, Ariz.; three brothers, Michael McReynolds and his wife, Ginger, of Fort Worth, Texas, Douglas McReynolds and his wife Tamara, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Christopher McReynolds and his wife, Liz, of Morristown, N.J.; one brother-in-law, Don Humerickhouse and his wife Debra, of Palmetto, Fla.; two grandchildren, Kaleb Humerickhouse and Rachel Kemp; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Rosary service and funeral mass was held at 2 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 17, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Clarksville, Ark. Her body will be cremated.
