Sharon Kay Wright, 67, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin, Mo, following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 8, 1942, in Nevada, to Alva Earl "Bud" Mulkins and Gwendolyn Leona "Tiny" Morris Mulkins.

Sharon grew up in the Nevada and Metz areas and attended school in Metz. She was a cook and waitress at various restaurants in Nevada. She also worked at the tent factory in Nevada. She was loved by all who knew her.

Survivors include one daughter, Glenna Wright, Nevada; two sons, Rodney Wright, Nevada, and Chris Wright and Mildred Morrison, Sheldon; one granddaughter, Victoria Belle Wright, Sheldon; one stepson, Tim Deeter, Clever, Mo.; and his triplet grandchildren, Christian, Karson, and Jacob; two brothers, W.H. "Dub" Kennedy and Jessica, Nevada, and Rick Kennedy, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father, Bud Mulkins; her mother, Gwen "Tiny" Kennedy; one brother, Morris Mulkins, and one stepson, Don Wright.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, Aug. 31, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor Steve Russ officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
