Police Reports Aug. 18-26

Aug. 18

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 1100 block of north Washington, made by Thomas Schmidt, of Nevada. He reported a generator and an air compressor stolen.

Aug. 21

An accident occurred at 9:44, in McDonald's parking lot, involving a SUV driven by Jenet L. Hill, of Nevada, and a car driven by John H. Stover, of Drexel, Mo. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 12:50 p.m., in Wal-Mart's parking lot, involving a parked pickup owned by Robert and Christi McKinney, of El Dorado Springs, and a parked SUV owned by Bradley and Cecelia Mowry, of Nevada. Children in the McKinney vehicle took the pickup out of gear, causing it to roll into the Mowry SUV.

An accident occurred at 1:58 p.m., on Austin and Lynn, involving a SUV driven by Amanda K. Fisher, of Nevada, and a car driven by James L. Guthrie, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.'

Aug. 22

An accident occurred at 1:22 p.m., on Austin and West, involving a car driven by Nancy J. Rich, of Rich Hill, and a car driven by James C. Wilson, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 7:28 p.m., on Highway BB and South, involving a car driven by Corey E. Bell, of Nevada, and a street sign owned by the city of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a petty theft from a building on the 600 block of east Cherry, made by Linda Beasley, of Nevada. She reported a purse and contents stolen.

There was a report of a theft on the 200 block of north Lynn, made by Melissa Lane, of Nevada. She reported cash stolen.

There was a petty theft from a building on the 300 block of north Spring, of Nevada. She reported a tattoo gun set stolen.

Aug. 24

There was a report of a petty theft from a motor vehicle on the 400 block of south West, made by Adam Meek, of Nevada. He reported change, a MP3 player, and a camera stolen.

Aug. 26

An accident occurred at 5:28 p.m., on Austin and College, involving a pickup driven by Robert L. Mahan, of Nevada, and a SUV driven by Brian A. Burlingame, of Nevada. Charles Steele III, of Nevada, a passenger in the Mahan vehicle, was listed with evident but not disabling injuries
