Frances Jennine Clemensen, 80, of Florissant, Mo., formerly of Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born on Dec. 11, 1928, to Mrs. and Mrs. Frank Crews. She married Jack Martin Clemensen on April 30, 1946, in Yuma, Ariz., and he preceded her in death in November 2000.

Frances was born and reared in Nevada. She worked for many years in the Aerospace Industry at McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis, retiring in 1987. Following retirement, she spent 13 years in Louisburg, Kan., and has resided in the St. Louis area since 2000.

Survivors include three daughters, Jackie Seifried, Springfield, Mo., Kathy Eichacker, Edwardsville, Ill., and Sherry Vandergrift, Granite City, Ill.; one son, Phil Clemensen, Branson, Mo.; one brother-in-law, Ross Clemensen, Independence, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada, with pastor David Rorabaugh officiating. Friends may call now and until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and the family receives from 2:30-3:30 p.m., on Saturday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
