Sept. 30

There were reports of a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, vandalism in the Rich Hill area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, a suspicious person in the Nevada area, a juvenile in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Horton area, theft in the Nevada area, an ex parte violation in the Richards area, and an abandoned vehicle in the Nevada area.

Richard D. Nunley, 34, of Sheldon, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of tampering with a motor vehicle. He was released in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Joseph S. Batchelor, 31, of Metz, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of harassment. He was released in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Leo R. Benenhaley, 40, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to stop and driving while intoxciated. He was released in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Oct. 1

There were reports of a vehicle accident in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a request to speak to an officer in the Nevada area, a storm watch/warning in the Nevada area, a found item in the Milo area, a juvenile in the Schell City area, a vehicle accident in the Nevada area, a domestic assault in the Sheldon area, and an ex parte violation in the Richards area.

Peter R. Bump, 44, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, and unlawful use of drug paraphernaila. He was released in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Adam S. Alexander, 37, of Sheldon, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of domestic assault. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Kevin W. Horst, 28, of Shawnee, Kan., was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of domestic assault. He was released in lieu of a $25,000 bond.

John C. Patrick, 23, of Rich Hill, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of a warrant out of Bates County for failure to appear and non-support. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Matthew A. Crews, 21, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of assault and purchase of liquor by a minor. He is being held in lieu of a $500 bond.

Oct. 2

There were reports of a suspicious activity in the Nevada area, an odor investigation in the Harwood area, an agency assist in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a careless and imprudent driver in the Nevada area, a follow up in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Bronaugh area, a 911 hang up in the Nevada area, suspicious activity in the Hume area, and a child custody issue in the Sheldon area.

Eric W. Greer, 25, of Richards, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of violation of an order of protection. He is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Amy Sanders, 19, of Springfield, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. She is being held without bond.

Elisabeth A. Obanion, 23, of Nixa, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of failure to appear. She is being held in lieu of a $900 bond

Linda L. Miller, 29, of Rich Hill, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of a warrant out of Jackson County for probation violation. She is being held in lieu of a $2,000 bond.

Charles A. Hart, 36, of Greenfield, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of passing bad checks, a warrant out of Cedar County for three counts of passing bad checks. He is being held in lieu of a $2,200 bond.

Jesse A. Vail, 27, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of probation violation. He is being held without bond.

Krista S. Ford, 20, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of robbery and possession of cocaine. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.

Christopher D. Burns, 30, of Belton, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of robbery. He is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

Mitchell R. Pent, 20, of Fort Scott, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of a minor visibly intoxicated with blood alcohol content of .02 percent or more. He is being held in lieu of a $500 bond.
