Oct. 10

A burglary was reported in the 300 block of east Ashland, made by Travis Stinnette, of Nevada. He reported a laptop, games, television, and a Playstation.

Oct. 14

A petty theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of west Walnut, made by Suanne Heumader, of Nevada. She reported a purse and contents stolen.

Oct. 15

A burglary was reported in the 400 block of west Hickory, made by Kendra Ledom, of Nevada. She reported a Playstation, video game, and two guitars stolen. A female was picked up in connection with the incident. The case was referred to the Vernon County Prosecutor's office.

An accident occurred at 1:42 p.m., at McDonald's parking lot, involving a pickup driven by Davis A. Williams, of Milo, and the retaining wall on the east side of McDonalds. No injuries were reported.

Oct. 16

A petty theft of motor vehicle parts was reported in the 300 block of north Center, made by 71 Motors, of Nevada. Two tires and wheels were reported stolen.

A theft was reported in the 2500 block of east Johnson, made by Stephanie Bailey, of Nevada. She reported cash stolen.

An accident occurred at 11:30 a.m., at Wal-Mart's parking lot, involving a car driven by Betty L. Chrisenberry, of Moundville, and an SUV driven by Barbara E. Brown, of Walker. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 3 p.m., at the high school's parking lot, involving a car driven by McKenzie A. Crews, of Nevada, and a parked car owned by Larry and Mary McHenery, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 5:56 p.m., on Washington and Hickory, involving a car driven by Steven G. Schulp, of Deerfield, and a car driven by Chris L. Ensor, of Nevada. Kimberly D. Schlup and Erica L. Neider, of Nevada, both in the Schlup vehicle, were both listed with probable but not apparent injuries.

Oct. 18

An accident occurred at 10:24 p.m., on Austin and Underpass, involving a pickup driven by Kristopher R. Cox, and a vehicle that left the scene.

Oct. 19

A vehicle theft was reported on the 1300 block of north Osage, made by David Hammersley, of Quapaw, Okla. He reported a 2000 refrigerated trailer stolen.
