Story -- 50 years

Doug and Barbara (Counter) Story will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on Jan. 11, 2010. The Storys' children and grandchildren hosted a special dinner in their honor. The Storys were married Jan. 11, 1960, in Carson City, Nev.

The Storys have four children, sons Chris and wife Kristi of Marietta, Ga., Doug Story Jr. and wife Julie of Pittsburg, Kan. Daughters Susan Beeman and husband Mike of Nevada, and Jennifer Wolfe and husband BG also of Nevada. The Storys have nine grandchildren, Jeremy Ogle and wife Jessi of Sturgis, Mich., Joseph Beeman, Katie and Carly Story, Matthew and Aliee Story, Ross, Grant and Brynn, Wolfe, and one great-grandchild, Addison Ogle.
