There were reports of a trespassing in the Vernon County area, a vehicle accident in the Vernon County area, a request to speak with an officer in the Vernon County area, 15 paper services in the Nevada area, a stranded motorist in the Vernon County area, a juvenile in the Bronaugh area, and two controlled burns in the Vernon County area.

William J. Barger, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of burglary, two counts of kidnapping, five counts of armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a fire arm, tampering with evidence and possession of illegal firearm. He is being held without bond.

There were reports of a 911 hangup in the Milo area, a child custody issue in the Sheldon area, a lost item in the Vernon County area, a vehicle accident in the Vernon County area, a 911 hangup in the Nevada area, and an abandoned vehicle in the Vernon County area.

Richard D. Burris, 27, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of a probation violation. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.

Krista S. Jarvis, 21, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of possession of opium/cocaine. She is being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

Ronald W. Radford, 49, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of unlawful possesion of a firearm. He is being held in lieu of a $5,000 bond.
