Frank Marion Hogan

Frank Marion Hogan, 92, Nevada, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010, at Christian Health Care in Nevada, following a lengthy illness.

He was born March 3, 1918, in Rich Hill, Mo., to George W. and Mae Feeny Hogan. He married Eva Virginia Parrish on June 3, 1939, in Butler, Mo. She preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 2005.

Frank farmed in Vernon County most of his life. Later, he worked for 17 years at Nellie Don until his retirement.

Survivors include four sons, Gary Hogan and his wife Melba, Moundville, Mo., Jimmie Hogan and his wife Guila, Independence, Mo., Tommy Hogan, Nevada, and Kenneth Hogan and his wife Evanda, Nevada; two daughters, Joyce Litten, Nevada, and Pamela Bennett and her husband Larry, Overland Park, Kan.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, three sisters, and three brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, May 24, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Ray Dean Scism officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 10-11 a.m., Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
