Lucille E. Zaring

Lucille E. Zaring, 89, Nevada, Mo. passed away Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada. She was born Feb. 16, 1921, in Minatare, Neb. to John William Sharp and Lottie Gibbs Sharp. She was married July 22, 1939, in Torrington, Wyo., to John William "Bill" Zaring and he preceded her in death Sept. 1, 2004.

Mrs. Zaring lived in the states of Nebraska and Wyoming for a number of years. She came to Vernon County in the 1960s and lived the remainder of her life here. She worked at the Nevada State Hospital in Nevada for many years until her retirement.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Wanda Hallman, Nyssa, Ore.; two grandchildren, Brenda Rose, Parma, Idaho, and Mike Rose, Clarkston, Wash.: two great-grandchildren, Christopher Kibbiee, and Keelie Kibbiee, both of Clarkston, Wash.; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and five sisters, and one nephew, Glen Sharp.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4, at Virgil City Cemetery, Virgil City, Mo.

Friends may call between 6 and 8 p.m., Tuesday, at Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
