Gayleen Jones, 57, Nevada, passed away Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 2, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Robert Johnson Bell and Mary Ellen Richmond Bell. She was married July 23, 1976, in Oklahoma City to Terrol D. Jones and he survives of the home.

Gayleen was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She graduated from high school in Oklahoma City, and also Oklahoma State University of Technology in 1992. She and her husband moved to Nevada in 1992, and began her career in maintenance with the 3M corporation, retiring in 2005. Gayleen was a member of the Episcopal Church. She was a loving wife and mother, and enjoyed gardening, her fish ponds, and also her dogs.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Terry, include one son, Joshua Jones and his wife Cinnamon, Springfield, Mo.; one grandchild, Jasper Jones, Springfield; one brother, Robert R. Bell, Oklahoma City; one sister, Gina K. Jones, Oklahoma City; one niece, Casey Jones, and one nephew Corbit Jones, both of Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Ellen Bell.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
