Bonnie A. Prewitt

Bonnie A. Prewitt, 91, Walker, Mo., passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada. She was born on Oct. 7, 1919, in Walker, to William G. Jones and Susie Coffman Jones. She married Robert S. Prewitt on June 21, 1941, in Butler, Mo., and he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 2003.

Bonnie was born and raised in Walker and graduated from Walker High School. She was a seamstress and enjoyed playing bingo. She was a member of the Walker Christian Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Norma Campaneris, Overland Park, Kan.; and one granddaughter, Carmen Campaneris, Overland Park, Kan. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Murry Jones.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 17, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada, with the Rev. David Rorabaugh officiating. Friends may call now and until 1:30 p.m., Thursday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
