Robert Wayne "Robby" Elliott, 53, Milo, Mo., passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at his home in Milo, following a short illness.

Robby was born Feb. 17, 1958, in Nevada, to Robert L. Elliott and Louise Cribbett Elliott. He married Sally Ann Malcom on Oct. 27, 1992, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and she survives of the home.

Robby spent his life in and around the Nevada area and attended Nevada schools. He was self-employed and painted with his wife by his side for several businesses and individuals in Nevada and surrounding areas. He enjoyed his work and thrived for professionalism. Robby was an avid hunter and fisherman.Camping at Roaring River and catching trout with his sons and grandsons was always a highlight of his life.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include three sons, Cory W. Elliott, Nevada; Isaac Amaya and his wife Shana, Butler, Mo.; and Warrant Officer Jesse Amaya and his wife, Guady in the U. S. Army, stationed in New York state; seven grandsons, Gustavo, Aaron, Alex, Alex, Austin, A. J., and Ayden; one granddaughter, Adalynn; three sisters, Brenda Harrell and her husband Norman, and Janice Rawlings, all of Nevada; and Dana Blurton and her husband Bobby, Parker, Kan.; two brothers, Randy Elliott, Nevada; and Rodney Elliott; two uncles, Donald Timbers, Sedalia, Mo.; and Herbie Elliott, Kansas City, Mo.; five nieces, Donetta, Robyn, Heather, Jennifer and Garilee; four nephews, Aaron, Jamin, Brian, and Robert; several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also surviving is his long-loyal dog Petie. He was preceded in death by both parents.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, May 12, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with pastor Bill Platt officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 7-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
