Erin Mychael Lewis - Drew Gregory Mannen

Erin Mychael Lewis and Drew Gregory Mannen announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Erin is the daughter of David and Debbie Lewis of Fort Scott, Kan. Maternal grandparents are Marlyn Sauerwein and the late Bill Sauerwein; paternal grandparents are Lucille Lewis and the late Joe Lewis, all of Fort Scott.

Erin is a 2005 graduate of Fort Scott High School and a 2009 graduate of The University of Kansas, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in mechanical engineering with a focus in spine biomechanics at The University of Kansas.

Drew is the son of Ken and Julie Mannen of Independence, Mo. Maternal grandparents are Jay McAhan and the late JoAnn McAhan of Osceola, Mo.; paternal grandparents are Louis and Susan Mannen and the late Betty Ann Mannen of Independence.

Drew is a 2006 graduate of William Chrisman High School and a 2010 graduate of Missouri Western State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He played for the Missouri Western Griffons baseball team while attending the university. Drew is currently an account representative for Freight Quote located in Lenexa, Kan.

The couple will wed on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Fort Scott, with a dinner and dance following the ceremony.
