Vicky Marie Liles

Vicky Marie Liles, 54, Nevada, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at her home in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born May 14, 1957, in Greeley, Colo., to Frederick Price and Helen Marie Hendricks Price. She married Jim Liles on Sept. 6, 1991, in El Dorado Springs, Mo., and he survives of the home.

Vicky grew up in El Dorado Springs and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1975. She graduated from Fort Scott Community College with an Associates Degree of Nursing becoming an LPN and later became a Registered Nurse in 1990. Vicky worked as a nurse at Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs for 17 years. She retired in 1999 due to illness. Vicky was a member of the Rinehart Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jim, of the home; five children, Emily Denning and her husband, William, Overland Park, Kan., Erika Johnson and her husband, Tracy, Nevada, Erin Beisly and her husband, Kyle, Nevada, Drew Liles and his wife, Bethany, Richards, Mo., and Hollie Kelly and her husband, Kyle, San Antonio, Texas; eight grandchildren, Paeten Denning, Addison Denning, Reagan Johnson, Garrett Johnson, Baylee Johnson, Zoey Williams, Raleigh Liles, and Josie Liles; two brothers, Ronnie Price, Mt. Vernon, Mo., and Lyle Price, El Dorado Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Sherri Parmenter and Teresa Moler, both of Springfield, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Stephen; and her beloved dog, Abby.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Gary Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home.
