Eunice Pauline Danley, 94, Nevada, formerly of Sheldon, Mo., passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at Barone Alzheimer's Care Center, Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 19, 1917, in Kansas City, Mo., to George Reynolds and Pearl Meyers Reynolds. She was married Jan. 16, 1939, to Rockford Weste and he preceded her in death June I1, 1987. She then was married Feb. 14, 1992, to Ralph Danley and he preceded her in death Feb. 9, 2007.

Mrs. Danley grew up in Kansas City, Mo., and came to Vernon County in 1954. Eunice and her husband operated the Standard Station and Cafe in Sheldon, Mo. She later worked for many years at Nelly Don in Nevada. She and her husband were extremely active in many facets of the Sheldon school system for more than 30 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Taft, Lamar, Mo.; five grandchildren, Julie Casey, Sheldon, Mo., Debra Lynn Fitzpatrick, Lamar, Mo., Janice Sue Grote, Martel, Neb., Rocky Taft, Hartshorn, Mo., and Crystal Bruette, Beirien Springs, Mich.; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Sheldon Baptist Church, Sheldon, Mo. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, rural Sheldon, Mo. Friends may call now and until 9 a.m., at Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
