Norman D. Beisly, 71, Nevada, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Nevada, to Norman Basil Beisly and Emma Neomi Dean Beisly. He married LaDeane Bobbett on June 24, 1961, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

Norman was born and raised in Kansas City and Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1959. He worked for the Missouri Highway Department in Vernon County for a number of years. Norman farmed and raised cattle most of his life.

Survivors in addition to his wife, LaDeane, of the home, include two sons, Tracy Beisly and his wife, Kelly, and Travis Beisly, all of Nevada; four grandchildren, Kyle Beisly and his wife, Erin, Colby Beisly, Clay Beisly and Chase Beisly, all of Nevada; and one great-granddaughter, Zoey. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment will follow in Newton Burial Park, Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
