April 25

1:17 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Route W involving a pickup driven by David C. Walden, Clinton, Mo., and a car driven by Blaine E. Gerster, Schell City, Mo. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 600 block of North Main Street. A red push mower that was left outside was stolen.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 600 block of East Atlantic Street. A small white Speedmaster bicycle with pink trim was stolen from the front porch.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 900 block of North Missouri Street. A gray double stroller was stolen from the front porch.

April 26

7:41 a.m.: An accident occurred at 800 W. Ashland St. involving a pickup driven by Jarrek L. Rankin, Moundville, Mo., and a pickup owned by Chris Hendren, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

8:35 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and 1413 Road involving an SUV driven by Teresa A. Wolfe, Deerfield, Mo., and a deer. No injuries were reported.

April 27

6:55 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2501 Johnson Drive involving a pickup driven by Rossington Hopkins, El Dorado Springs, Mo., and a van driven by Brandon S. Stone, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a theft in the 100 block of East Cherry Street. A purse with miscellaneous contents was stolen from a 1996 Chevy Blazer that was left unlocked.

April 28

9:19 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2117 E. Austin Blvd. involving a pickup driven by Robert S. Schreier, Sheldon, Mo., and a pickup driven by Trevor R. Conner, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a petty theft in the 600 block of West Hunter Street. A car DVD player and Garmin GPS was stolen from a 1998 Ford Expedition when the vehicle was left unlocked.

There was a report of tampering with a motor vehicle in the 200 block of West Hickory Street. The center console of a 2012 Dodge Avenger was broken and two check books were stolen when the vehicle was unlocked.

April 29

There was a report of a petty theft in the 200 block of South Main Street. A gas leaf blower was stolen out of a shed in the back yard.

There was a report of property damage in the 900 block of West Briarwood Lane. The owner reported a black SUV drove through the yard, leaving ruts.

April 30

There was a report of a burglary in the 500 block of North Osage Boulevard. Cash and two Dell laptop computers were stolen. Enterance was gained after breaking a window.

May 1

There was a report of a burglary in the 1200 block of East Highland Avenue. Items stolen: 15 aluminum blocks, a Dell laptop computer, a Dell overhead projector, a Plasma Cutter, and 500 Cleco metal holding rods.

There was a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of North Ash Street. A back door was kicked in and items were stolen. A list of the items was not turned in at time of press release.

May 3

There was a report of a petty theft in the 800 block of North Lynn Street. A green boys 20-inch Fusion 500 bicycle was stolen from the front porch and a Mongoose skateboard was left in its place.

3:13 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and Jefferson Street involving an SUV driven by Anthony W. Karns, Oklahoma City, Okla., and a car driven by Austin Sisseck, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

4:49 p.m.: An accident occurred at 2101 N. Ash Street involving a car driven by Georgia E. Russell, Nevada, and a car owned by Regina L. Rodabaugh, Nevada. No injuries were reported.

5:30 p.m.: A one-vehicle accident occurred in the alleyway behind 1006 N. West St. when an SUV driven by Frank J. Woodall, Nevada, struck a chainlink fence. No injuries were reported.
