Ralph Thomas Hagerman, 75, Moundville, Mo., passed away at his home on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, following a lengthy illness. He was born Jan. 25, 1937, in WaKeeney, Kan., to Ralph Hagerman and Elva Joy Comfort Hagerman. He and Beatrice Condrey were married on Jan. 12, 1957, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

Ralph came with his family to Vernon County as a child. He attended Longacre and Nevada schools. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954-'56. Ralph worked for McDonnell Douglas in St. Louis for 10 years, as a jet mechanic. He came back to farm in Moundville in 1967. Ralph farmed for many years, for himself and for Garton Farms. He also worked as a bus driver for Bronaugh school district from 1968-2004.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice; two sons, Kenneth Hagerman and his wife, Phyllis, Lockwood, Mo., and Gary Hagerman, Moundville, Mo.; one daughter, Linda Farmer and her husband, Roy, Bronaugh, Mo.; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roy Hagerman, Sedalia, Mo., and George D. Hagerman, Bronaugh, Mo.; three sisters, Nellie May Fishell, Independence, Mo., Naomi Williams, Rich Hill, Mo., and Mary Ann Pulliam, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Hagerman, and John's wife.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 13, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating. Interment with military rites will follow in Worsley Cemetery, Bronaugh, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends from 7-8 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 12.
