Frances M. Bogart, 86, Nevada, passed away on Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at Freeman Health System West, Joplin, Mo. She was born April 13, 1926, in Toby, Ill., to John and Rosa Lenne. She was married Sept. 21, 1954, to Homer Leroy Bogart in Fayetteville, Ark., and he preceded her in death in 1981.

Frances was raised in Pittsburg, Kan., and graduated from high school there. She lived most of her life in Sheldon and Lamar and had lived in Nevada for the past 20 years. Frances worked at O'Sullivan Industries in Lamar for 20 years until her retirement. Frances loved being with her family and taking care of her dog "Sissey" for the past 11 years.

Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Hamilton, Nevada; one son, Gary Bogart and his wife, Janice, Amarillo, Texas; 11 grandchildren, Rolla John Hamilton, John Hagerman, Rainy Olson, Heather Frommer, Amanda Johnson, Johnathon McIntire, Gary Bogart, Anola Grieshaber, Rebekah May, Ashley Hamilton, and Kyle Bogart; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie Manley; and two daughters, Bobbie Lynn Hagerman and an infant daughter, Frances Marie.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, at Barton City Cemetery, Barton County, Mo. Friends may call now and until 9:30 a.m., Friday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 30, at the funeral home.
