JV girls fall to Bolivar

The Nevada High School junior varsity girls' basketball team got back into action Monday night for the first time since before the holiday break and ultimately came up short on a night full of struggles for Nevada.

Coach Jenny Allard's squad stayed in the contest the majority of the way, but ultimately couldn't maintain Bolivar's pace. Despite being in a close battle at the half, Bolivar pulled away as the minutes wore on and picked up the victory by a final score of 43-31.

Next on the schedule for Nevada is Friday, when the Lady Tigers head back out on the road to take on Webb City.
