The Nevada Lady Tiger tennis team competed against Fort Scott Tuesday afternoon with distinct success. The Lady Tigers were able to take down Fort Scott by a final score of 9-0 in the match, taking shutout victories in all but two singles contests along with both doubles matches. Nevada tennis shuts out Mount Vernon (09/23/08)
The Nevada Lady Tigers tennis team competed in Mount Vernon, Mo., Monday afternoon. The Lady Tigers took their first shutout win of the year as they knocked off Mount Vernon 9-0. Whitley Del Rosario, Leah Creasy and Cheyenne Whitson all picked up individual shutouts, while two of the three doubles teams repeated the same feat as Del Rosario and Katlyn Short took a win over Erin Rust and Kristen Roach in their match by a score of 8-0 and the team of Whitson and Daven Smith followed suit with an 8-0 victory of their own over the team of Jacey Farmer and Julia Wendler.. ...
