Sixteen Veron County Youth Fair royalty candidates lined up for photos before the annual social Sunday afternoon at the United Methodist Church.

2018 Vernon County Youth Fair queen candidates include Kaeth Zachary, Sarah Byers, Paige Wait, Victoria Peery, Maggie Trytsman, Micala Bower and Natalie Peery.

Sixteen young women from Vernon County 4-H clubs and FFA programs are competing for the title of Vernon County Youth Fair Queen and Princess. There are seven cadidates for Queen and nine cadidates for Princess.
