Nevada Daily Mail Although state auditors explained the results of a petition audit conducted on the city of Nevada's finances, no new information was released relating to the misappropriation of funds reported by the Daily Mail in September. In addition to discussing the petition audit report Donna Christian, audit manager from the State Auditor's Springfield office, also talked about a second audit that was conducted in May and June 2004 at the request of the city, the Vernon County prosecuting attorney and the Missouri State Highway Patrol to aid in the investigation of missing city money.. ...
