Officials hope to finish runway construction by the end of the year

Local YMCA reports that fund-raising for new pool is going well

Osage Prairie YMCA director Tedd Maxfield said Thursday that fund-raising to pay for the construction of an indoor pool at the Nevada facility is going strong. A recent pledge from a local bank brought the official fund-raising total to around $500,000; and pledges and donations continue to come in. Maxfield said about $1.9 million is needed to fund the project. Since then, more has been raised, but Maxfield said official tallies still show much need for additional funds...
