Member's of Cottey College's art club, or ACCA, have begun working on the restoration of a local mural, a work by the late Ed Koski, featuring an Osage Indian in a canoe. Aptly named, "Osage -- the Lone Canoe" was unveiled July 13, 1997. The mural was painted on five 4-inch by 8-inch sheets of inexpensive laminated boards that curled and rotted over the years so that severe water damage -- cracking and chipping and warping -- became so evident the mural was taken down and stored in the hope it might one day be restored.. ...
