Nevada Daily Mail A cow wandering in the roadway in the early morning hours on Thursday was struck by a tractor-trailer, causing a crash that left a 44-year-old Gallitin, Mo., man with moderate injuries. Nevada Daily Mail Nevada-area quilter Judy Laquidara has been selected as a semifinalist for the 2007 AQS Quilt Exposition, Aug. 22-25, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, in Nashville, Tenn. Laquidara has been chosen to join 322 others in this annual contest. In its seventh year, the competition is offering $39,750 in cash awards.
