The Nevada Country Club hosted the 39th annual Four Ball Invitational golf tournament this past weekend. The tournament was made up of four flights, consisting of several two-person teams, with prizes being awarded to the top four finishers in each flight. Each teams score was determined by the total of lowest of the two individual scores on each hole, and the tournament spanned two 18 hole rounds...

The Nevada Red Sox won a doubleheader at Lyons Stadium against Neosho last night. In the night's first game, Nevada started a rally early, scoring three runs on four hits in the first inning, and never looked back. The Red Sox came on strong right from the start, with the help of poor defense from Neosho that continued throughout the game, with two passed balls in the bottom half of the first inning and a total of four errors and four passed balls in the game...
