The Nevada Red Sox suffered a harsh loss in game one of last night's doubleheader against the MacDonald County Mustangs. Nevada's pitching got rocked by the powerful offense of the Mustangs right from the start of the game, allowing five runs on five hits in the very first inning. The Red Sox never were able to fully recover from the early rout, but were able to cut into the lead with four runs of their own in the fourth inning...

The seventh annual Knights of Columbus Golf Tournament was held Saturday at the Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course. The three-person scramble tournament was divided into two flights, the Championship Flight and the A Flight.
