Virginia Louise Volkman, age 75, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2009, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Pittsburg, Kan. Louise was born Jan. 6, 1934, to Thurman and Nancy Wallace. She retired from the Nevada State Hospital in 1996. Louise is survived by her husband of 57 years, Delbert Volkman; two daughters; Miki Pace, of Omaha, Neb., La., and Dottie Smith, of Nevada; one son Kenny Volkman, of Nevada; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother Wilbur Wallace of Augusta, Kan.; and one sister, Nancy Gruver, of Oregon. ...
