Garrett Mason, accused of killing two teen-age girls, made a short appearance before Judge James Bickel on Tuesday. Attorneys for Mason had made two motions, one for a change of judge and one for a change of venue. Bickel ruled only on the change of judge, saying the new judge would rule on any other motions...

The Hume Lady Hornets got off to a strong start in the 2009 volleyball season as they defeated Ballard at home 25-10, 27-25 on Sept. 3.
