Crash causes power outage on Saturday

A one vehicle crash that occurred in an alley near 414 Walnut Street, Nevada, about 10:30 on Saturday night knocked out a transformer and power to several homes and businesses. Investigators call Friday structure fire 'incendiary'

A couple out looking for their dog Friday night found a structure on fire instead. Jeffrey and Christy Cox were walking on Ashland in Nevada when Christy first noticed the smoke; but at first, it seemed of little consequence. Dear Editor, The recent article concerning my Peace Corps service in Ukraine, though written with the best of intentions, contains a gross misquotation that utterly undermines the spirit of Peace Corps and my service therein. Toward the end of the article, I supposedly made remarks about my former home of Gorlovka. The quote "mention Gorlovka to a Ukrainian and you'll get a facial response of disgust and bewilderment," did not originate from my tongue!...
