Fair food drive exceeds goal

Hanna Miller's 4-H leadership project this year was organizing a food drive for Community Outreach during the Vernon County Youth Fair. She would like to thank everyone who made a cash donation or donated food. Her goal this year was to collect enough food to equal the average weight of a steer at the fair, which is 1,200 pounds. Each night she colored in a steer cut out to show the progress of her food drive. She collected a total of 1,213 pounds which put her 13 pounds over the goal...

County Road 200 to be closed temporarily
