MegaWest quickly caps gushing oil well

Sharp-eyed motorist Will Bishop spotted an unusual sight at the MegaWest Energy oil field just east of the Kansas state line at approximately 11 a.m., Thursday, oil gushing into the air. The next generation

Friday, Sept. 10, the 1975 Nevada Tiger football team, will be inducted into the Nevada High School Wall of Fame. I have great memories of those days. I referred to this team in the title of this article, as "The next generation." Most of those fine young men had been the boys on the sidelines cheering on my team from just nine years earlier. They were the kids we had seen kicking and passing a football along the sidelines. Now, they had grown up and become great champions in their own time...
