Dolphford R. Bain, 76, of Kansas City North, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2011. Dolph was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Rockville, Mo., the son of Boyd H. and Ruby Lucille (Roland) Bain. Winter's waning, tornado season is coming and Vernon County is prospering precipitation-wise. Counting the runoff from heavy February snowstorms, it had recorded 5.22 inches of moisture through 7 a.m. Tuesday.
