People for Pets advance goal of 'no-kill' county

Vernon County People for Pets will stage a fundraiser today at Osage Prairie Miniature Golf Course to raise money for vaccinating, spaying and neutering lost or abandoned pets. Club spokesman Cecil Pritchett said the group's big costumed mascot, "Fido," will have his photo taken with visitors for $10 each.
