Shirley J. Sprague, 79, of rural Arma, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Via Christi Hospital at Pittsburg, Kan. Mrs. Sprague was born Nov. 27, 1932, at Fort Scott, Kan., the daughter of Ivan and Goldie Swafford Bowen. Shirley was a homemaker who was reared and lived in Kansas City, Mo., most of her life. She married Hubert "Bert" Sprague. Mr. Sprague preceded her in death Nov. 2, 2006...
