Rape suspect surrenders to sheriff

A man accused of rape and sodomy turned himself in to the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on Thursday and was booked into the Vernon County Jail. Nicomu Lee Ling is charged with five felony charges alleging statutory rape and statutory sodomy. He was arraigned before Associate Circuit Judge Neal Quitno on Friday on three charges of second-degree statutory rape and two counts of second-degree statutory sodomy.
