Despite what turned out to be far less than ideal weather for being on the course, the Nevada Tigers golf team hosted a match for the second time this season Monday, at the Frank E. Peters Municipal Golf Course, in Nevada. The Tigers took on Butler and El Dorado Springs in the match and despite turning in a combined team score that head coach Brian Leonard said was, "not an impressive score, number wise," won the match by 40 strokes over the second-place varsity team. ...

The 10th annual "Fishing For a Cure" Buddy Bass Tournament, held April 19, in Rich Hill, raised more than $1,050 in the fight against cystic fibrosis, a deadly genetic disease.
