Darlene W. Wolfe, 76, of Metz, Mo., passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Nevada Regional Hospital following a period of declining health. Cynthia Ann Lucas, 70, Nevada Mo., passed from this life on Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at Barone Alzheimer's Care Center, in Nevada, following an illness of several months. Cynthia was born July 15, 1945, in Booneville, Mo., to Herbert Theron and Connie Mae (Riley) Pyeatte. She was united in marriage to Elroy Lucas on Oct. 9, 1971, in Columbia, Mo., and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2006...

Since I have a few ailments these days I sometimes don't get to church regularly. But recently I went to church right here in my own home. In fact I was lying in bed with my feet elevated. I was feeling very comfy and as it was getting dark I watched out the window for a while to see the different colors hit the pond through the trees.
