Karin Meta Glass, 71, Nevada, Mo., passed away on May 24, 2016, at Freeman West Hospital, in Joplin, following a lengthy illness. Karin was born on Oct. 26, 1944, in Altenwald, Germany, to Alfred and Meta (Moser) Morsch. She was united in marriage to Rex L. Glass on Aug. 9, 1967, in Germany, and he survives of the home...

On May 24th, 2016, at about 1030pm, Nevada Police Officers responded to the 800 block of E. Ashland in regards to a report of shots fired. Investigating Officers located a 28 year old Nevada resident lying on the apartment parking lot with several gunshot wounds.
