Maxine Stark, 77, Nevada, passed from this life on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at her home in Nevada following a courageous battle with cancer. The title of this week's column is taken from one of my all time favorite novels, "God Is an Englishman." The setting for this novel begins in the middle of the Victorian England period, and details the issues that the "Industrial Age," brought to the people of that era.
